Fountain Valley Chiropractor: Dr. Lee Pierce

Dr. Lee PierceThere is a great reason why I help over 95% of my clients. It's because your first visit to my Fountain Valley wellness center is all about determining whether or not chiropractic CAN help you. Job #1 is to determine if you are in the right office and if I am the right doctor for you.

I have a couple of nurses and a wild-man room mate to thank for my career choice as a chiropractor.  You see originally, as a childhood fan of M.A.S.H., I wanted to be like "Hawkeye Pierce" and become a thoracic surgeon.  After completing my undergrad studies and researching the path to surgery I was blessed to meet-up with a couple of nurses who strongly discouraged from becoming an M.D.. They enlightened me about the reality of being a medical doctor and specifically a surgeon.  I am glad that people go that route because we need great surgeons, but I found out it's a terrible high stress job that leaves many doctors socially and emotionally tweaked for life. Not for me.  But now what do I do? Enter in one crazy (or so I thought) room-mate Marcus the-wildman Levitt who is studying to be a chiropractor. This blond haired surfer-dude, who everyone loves, is serious and focused on only one thing in life - natural healing through the power of chiropractic.  It was impressive how he would snap out of party mode and become focused and serious when he taught me about chiropractic.  He gave me my first adjustment and the rest is history. Thank God and Bless Marcus for mentoring into an awesome career of saving lives and life naturally without drugs or surgery!

I have to admit that school was tough for me. It was not that the work was too difficult but that there was just so much of it.  In chiropractic college, I averaged 22 units per trimester for 10 straight terms.  What made it most difficult was the financial stress, every trimester, of not knowing if I would have enough money to pay for the next term. Thank you Ronald Reagan for making funding available for students when I was about half way through. Working my way through school and paying off my student loans has given me an appreciation of the value of money.  That is why I give my clients my very best each and every visit.  My goal is to give extraordinary value for all services and products I provide and that is why I give a satisfaction guarantee.

There are only two directions you can go in life: toward wellness away from sickness or toward sickness and away from wellness.  There is no standing still.  My practice is all about moving you towards wellness, at the pace that you determine.  Not everyone has the same goals with regard to their health and wellness. My job is to figure out what you want to achieve and help you achieve it.  Along the way I always hope to expand your vision and show you what is possible so that in the end you are never cheated out of what you could have had if you had only known about it.  I show my patients the way and then get out of their way! They decide where they want to go and how fast they want me to take them there.

My wife, Yvette, ans I just celebrated our 21st wedding anniversary!  My plan is get her to keep renewing the contract annually until we hit our 75th anniversary and then review the plan.  We are blessed to have two wonderful sons, Adam 2nd year college and Jacob 2nd year high school.

We have been attending Calvary Chapel Huntington Beach (Refuge) for over 14 years and really enjoy the fellowship, worship and teaching.  Being Christians, we work hard to make our practice a reflection of our beliefs and never to compromise our walk or witness.  We do things right or we don't do them at all.

We enjoy So Cal living and take advantage of an active lifestyle. Tennis and cycling are at the top of my list but the family also enjoys volleyball, walking, hiking and swimming.

When it comes to your health there is knowing and there is doing.  I am embarrassed and hate to admit it but a few years ago I let myself fall victim to a hectic stressful life style.  I deluded myself into thinking that just because I was a doctor and KNEW all about natural health, that I somehow got a free pass and didn't have to DO the things it takes to be healthy.  I put on 50 pounds, got out of shape and felt so stiff and brittle that I started pulling muscles from just moving the wrong way. I even missed my own adjustments with my doctor. WOW! What a mistake and an eye opener.  I needed help to get back into shape so I started practicing what I was preaching, got adjusted regularly and even started a community weight loss challenge with a friend who was in the same boat.  With help and encouragement, we put knowing into doing and to date I have lost 41 pounds, I am back getting adjusted at least weekly,  playing tennis, stretching daily and working out. I have a fantastic goal to be healthier at 60 than I was at 40.  I know first hand how easy it fool yourself into thinking you'll do it tomorrow or after the next big project is finished.  Nike has it almost right with their slogan "Just Do It"  I would add "Just Do It NOW!"  I help my clients out of that trap and back onto the road to wellness.  That's my job and I love it.

Enough about me! How can I be of service to you?  How can I help you?  Get you out of pain? Help you to have more energy? Sleep better? Digest better? Perform better?

In order to get what you want you must take the first step and contact me. "Just Do It NOW"

Blessings,

Doc Lee Asks some important questions of interest to Fountain Valley residents - Chiropractor Fountain Valley Doc Lee Asks...

Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. Fountain Valley parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Fountain Valley chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
